Ahhhh glorious two-a-days. You’ve got to love them. Actually you’re not really a fan of them whilst vomiting from cardio during the first practice, only to realize you still have another whole practice to go in the afternoon (yup, that was me), but once you finish training for the day, you feel it was all worth it! My gluteus maximus may not agree tonight, however as they are currently in a domestic dispute with one-legged box jumps, but they’ll come around eventually…
So yea, day 2 of 2-a-days in the books and I’m feeling great! Actually started the Paleo diet a few days ago and can really feel a huge surge in my energy levels. I had to work this evening at the bar until 1am so basically I was moving non-stop for 18 hours or so and still found a bit of energy to write this blog! So far I am really liking the results of the new diet so I’ll post more about it as time progresses and include more details and some links if anyone is interested in trying it out.
Training camp continues tomorrow with some plyometrix in the morning and a pool session in the afternoon, should be great! I’d like to thank my teammate and good friend Mike Shea for snagging an awesome shot of some one-legged hurdle jumping over some yoga boxes! Thanks bro!
As for now, a bit of stretching, a glass of water, and my pillow…
Good night world,
